Christopher J. Temple, P.E. 

Mr. Temple is a Principal Engineer and Corporate President at DeWolfe Engineering. He has more than twenty-five years of design experience in civil and structural engineering, including wood, timber, steel, concrete and plastics structural engineering, failure investigation, foundation engineering, permitting and site and utility engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer (Structural) in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University. He is fluent in many computer structural analysis programs and hand calculations. His design experience is complimented by three years experience in high rise construction supervision and two years experience in house construction. He is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, Structural Engineering Association of Vermont and a Member of the Order of the Engineer. He was the 2002 Structural Engineering Association of Vermont's Young Engineer of the Year.

John J. Svagzdys, P.E.

Mr. Svagzdys is a Senior Civil Engineer and Corporate Vice President of the firm. He has over twenty-nine years of experience in civil engineering, including transportation engineering, residential and commercial site development, stormwater management, solid waste engineering, construction management and surveying. He has a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of New Hampshire and is a registered Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of Vermont. Mr. Svagzdys is a member of the Vermont Society of Engineers (VSE) and served on the VSE board of directors.


Karyn L. Allen

Ms. Allen is a Structural Designer and has nineteen years experience in engineering and related fields, including drafting in electrical, mechanical, architectural and structural projects; and design of electrical and structural projects. She has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology from Vermont Technical College and is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction and currently serves on the Morristown Development Review Board.  


Ken Bushey

Ken Bushey

Mr. Bushey is a Structural Designer and has over nine years experience in structural engineering. He has design experience in foundations, retaining walls, wood, steel, concrete and timber construction. Mr. Bushey has interned for the State of Vermont which included gathering information on the states' buildings. He has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology and an Associate degree in Architectural and Building Engineering Technology, both from Vermont Technical College. He is a member of American Institute of Steel Construction, Structural Engineers Association of Vermont, and is currently serving on the Planning Commission for the Town of Vershire.

Richard B. Colburn III, E.I.

Mr. Colburn is a registered Engineering Intern with experience in surveying, civil drafting, and site design. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Norwich University. Mr. Colburn is a member of the Order of the Engineer, Chi Epsilon, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Nicole Crum, P.E. 

Ms. Crum is a Structural Project Engineer and has over seven years of experience in structural engineering. She has design experience in foundations, retaining walls, wood, structural steel, cold-formed steel, concrete and timber. She has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Norwich University. She is a registered Structural Engineer in the States of Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York. She is also a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, the Structural Engineers Association of Vermont, the Order of the Engineer and Chi Epsilon.


zarabeth_duell

Zarabeth M. Duell, P.E. 

Ms. Duell is a Senior Structural Engineer and has more than fourteen years design experience in structural engineering, including tower engineering, metal buildings design and wood, timber, steel and concrete structural engineering. Her design experience is complimented by a summer internship working in project management, one year of designing pre-engineered metal buildings, and one year structurally analyzing communication towers and their corresponding foundations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont and is a registered Professional Engineer (Structural) in the State of Vermont. She is also a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction, Structural Engineering Association of Vermont and is a Member of the Order of the Engineer.

Alicia Feiler, P.E.

Mrs. Feiler is a Civil Project Engineer and has over six years of experience in civil engineering including experience in surveying, civil drafting, commercial, institutional, and industrial site design, and environmental and land use permitting. She has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Norwich University and is a registered Civil Engineer in the State of Vermont. Mrs. Feiler is a Member of the Order of the Engineer, Tau Beta Pi, and Chi Epsilon. Mrs. Feiler also is an adjunct professor at Norwich University where she instructs laboratories for surveying and site development courses.

Brian Lane-Karnas, P.E.

Mr. Lane-Karnas is a Civil Project Engineer and has eleven years of experience in civil and environmental engineering including residential, commercial, and industrial site development; water supply treatment and distribution; on-site and municipal wastewater disposal; contaminated site remediation treatment systems; stormwater collection and treatment; construction oversight and management; and environmental and land use permitting. He has a Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College and a Bachelor of Science from Norwich University and is a registered Civil Engineer in the state of Vermont. Mr. Lane-Karnas is a member of Tau Beta Pi, Chi Epsilon, and the Order of the Engineer.

Nathan Maille, M.S., E.I.

Mr. Maille is a Structural Design Engineer with seven years of design experience in structural engineering, including wood, timber, steel, and concrete structures. He is a graduate from the University of Vermont. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University. He is a registered Engineering Intern in the State of Vermont. He is also a member of the Order of the Engineer, Structural Engineering Association of Vermont, Tau Beta Pi, and Chi Epsilon.

Karen Marsh

Karen Marsh is the voice of DeWolfe Engineering. She has been the Office Manager, Bookkeeper, and Administrative Assistant for over eight years. She is a graduate of Champlain College. She is proficient in both accounting and office software.
