Keene Fire Station

Structural design services for a new 25,000 SF, $5.3 million fire station, which includes 10,000 SF of garage space. Design included a structural steel frame with CMU back-up for the main building. Reinforced concrete bearing walls with brick veneer for both the fire tower and stair tower. Due to poor soil conditions the foundation design included foundation walls, grade beams, and footings, that rested on geo piers. Other design factors considered a tight site.
