Structural and Civil design services for a 10,600 sf addition to an existing commercial building including new parking and drives. Structural design included wood frame and masonry materials as well as a renovation to the existing pre-engineered building. The civil design included site grading, parking layout, water and sanitary sewer services, storm-water and erosion control design. This White River Junction site is on the bank of the Connecticut River, near the confluence with the White River. Specific civil challenges included complying with floodplain regulations, designing for slope stability and working with the Stream Alteration permit program.
