Structural Engineering incorporated steel, timber, wood and concrete for a three wing, two-story addition. Long span timber trusses were originally incorporated in the gymnasium wing and were later changed to prefabricated scissor trusses to reduce costs. The two-story educational wing was constructed of parallel chord trusses & standard lumber framing including plywood shear walls.
